The Giant Blog Post About All My Recent Travels

12:49 PM

So I haven't blogged in a really long time...almost a month actually. I feel bad because I really did intend to post more often so I could keep my friends and family updated on my life as well as document this study abroad experience for myself. However, I've just been so busy with school and traveling I haven't had a chance to write at all. I mean at the moment I'm writing this but I'm actually supposed to be working on three papers due this week and booking my tickets for Rome but I felt like taking a little break to write this because I'm missed blogging. Anyway to update everyone on my travels I have been to Greece, Switzerland, the Harry Potter Studios, Edinburgh, and Bath in the past month. Pictures to come on Facebook really soon I promise! I could probably right ten pages on my adventures in Greece. It was literally the craziest week of my life and we made so many awesome friends and did things in retrospect that may have not been the best ideas but oh well we survived! If you're interested, you'll have to hear about it in person because it just not the same hearing from my blog. But a word of advice - if you can get an all inclusive package at a hotel do it because it was amazing to have everything be a la carte. Switzerland was literally the most beautiful place I had ever been in my entire life. If I knew the language I would move there in a heartbeat. Being up in the Alps was the most surreal moment of my life. If I wasn't so scared of getting blown off the mountain it totally could been one of those places I would go to "find myself" or search for "inner peace" or something equally abstract and philosophical. I don't knwo how to describe my experience at the Harry Potter Studios except to say that it was a magical experience. See what I did there? I'm hilarious I know. If anyone of you go there you must steal the Butterbeer recipe because it was absolutely delicious! Next we went to Edinburgh, Scotland which was nice but marred by the freezing cold temperature. Bath was interesting and very historical. I kind of wish we could have actually went in the baths though. All in all a very busy few weeks! I tried to sum it up as concisely as possible so you all don't get bored to death and I'm really sorry about not posting for the past month. But here are some pretty pictures to make up for it :)
