The mantra of pretty much every study abroad website is to not overpack. Well, that's definitely easier said than done. As a self-professed shopaholic and chronic over-packer, packing a semester's worth of stuff in the mandated one check-in suitcase was probably the most stressful experience of pre-departure so far. No one believed I could do it but, by some miracle and savvy packing skills I managed to be successful. I didn't even have to sit on my suitcase for it to close! Shocker I know. So now packing is over and the time has come for goodbyes. I may have lied earlier, the goodbyes are actually the most difficult part. Deciding to leave all my friends and family behind to go study abroad was not an easy decision but I felt like it was something I had to do. I think this will be a good experience for me in terms of personal growth. Not to mention all the amazing places I will get to see! Well my friends, look out for my next blog post from when I'm across the pond and have an amazing semester, especially my fellow seniors. Au revoir!
For me wanderlust is like a thirst that cannot be quenched. I love traveling and I decided to create this blog to document my experiences. I will be studying abroad in London this fall semester and while I am there I plan on traveling around the UK and mainland Europe. I'm sure this semester will fly by as fast as the past ones have. I'm still in shock that I'm starting my senior year! I think it is so easy to forget but important to remember as you only get some experiences once in lifetime. I'm creating this blog so that I can remember what I did and how I felt during what is sure to be one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I'm looking forward to sharing my journey with everyone and I hope you all get a chance to have your own travel adventures!
